# Pay bands

> Named pay ranges for roles and offers across your organisation.

## Overview

Pay bands is a thin catalogue of named ranges (minimum and maximum, GBP by default). Open **Pay bands** (`/hr/pay-bands`) when you have HR view or manage records permission.

Authorised users can add, edit, or remove bands from the drawer. Use them as a reference when setting pay on roles or offers.
