# Succession

> Critical roles, candidates, and readiness for workforce planning.

## Overview

**Succession** (`/hr/succession`) tracks critical roles, optional succession candidates, and readiness levels. Gap roles are highlighted at the top of the hub.

Users with manage records permission can add or edit plans from the drawer.
