# Introduction

> What Campsite is, who it is for, and the product areas it covers.

Campsite brings everything your organisation needs to run its people operations into one place. Instead of juggling separate tools for internal comms, staff scheduling, HR records, hiring, payroll, and compliance, you work from a single workspace that is branded to your organisation and accessible to everyone who needs it; from a new team member checking their company policy and first shift to a Super Admin configuring payroll settings.

## Run your team, not your tools.

That is the promise behind Campsite. Whether you are a Start-up team, SME or any organisation that manages staff; Campsite gives every person on your team access to everything that they need from the moment they join.

## Who uses Campsite?

Campsite is designed for every person in an organisation and for the candidates who aspire to join it.

1. **Staff** - receive communications, view rotas, request leave, access resources, and use the discount card.
2. **Managers & Coordinators** - build and manage shift schedules, approve requests, communicate with their departments, and monitor team activity.
3. **HR Teams** - maintain employee records, manage recruitment pipelines, oversee onboarding, and track performance.
4. **Finance Teams** - configure pay, manage wagesheets, and run payroll.
5. **Admins & Super Admins** - configure the workspace, manage roles and departments, and maintain organisational compliance.
6. **Candidates** - apply for roles, track their application status, and complete pre-start onboarding steps ahead of their first day.

## Your organisation's own workspace

Every organisation on Campsite gets its own branded subdomain at **`{org}.camp-site.co.uk`**. Your logo, colour scheme, and workspace name are yours. Your data is completely separate from every other organisation on the platform - no crossover, no shared records.

When you sign in, you are always in your organisation's workspace. Everything you see - from the navigation menu to the broadcasts feed - reflects your role and the departments you belong to.

  The Campsite mobile app is available for **iOS** and **Android**. Download it from the App Store
  or Google Play to access your broadcasts, rota, calendar, and resources on the go. Mobile parity
  with the web app is actively maintained and growing.
