The dashboard is your home screen after sign-in. It shows a role-scoped snapshot of what needs attention across broadcasts, scheduling, HR, and approvals.

What you see on the dashboard

The home screen shows four summary squares at the top:
  1. Unread broadcasts (or This week if your role hides unread counts): how much is waiting in your feed, or how many shifts and events are coming up.
  2. Pending approvals: a single count for everything that needs your sign-off, including broadcast drafts, new member access, leave and rota requests, hiring reviews, and HR compliance items such as right-to-work checks, ID document expiry, and open fit-note cases.
  3. Tasks pending: open tasks assigned to you in the Tasks workspace, including shared multi-assignee tasks.
  4. Custom tile: a metric you choose yourself. Use the customise control on the tile to track department headcount, hiring requests, the next 1:1 meeting, active onboardings, and more.
Below the squares you still get recent broadcasts, the upcoming calendar, and the account setup checklist when onboarding is incomplete. View all steps opens Profile → Onboarding. What you can approve or customise still depends on your role and permissions: Use the sidebar to move into product areas such as Broadcasts, Rota, Calendar, HR, Finance, and Admin. The sidebar is filtered by your role: if you cannot see a section, your role does not include access to it. The top bar gives you quick access to:
  • Notifications bell for unread alerts across leave, hiring, onboarding, and other domains.
  • Command palette (keyboard shortcut) to jump to pages, approvals, and notification lists.
  • Profile menu for settings, quiet hours, and sign-out.

Page guidance

Many pages include a small info control that explains what the page is for and where related settings live. Use it when you are unsure whether you are in the right place.

Tips

  • Pin or complete your profile early so HR and payroll records stay accurate.
  • If you expect to see a tile or menu item that is missing, check roles and permissions or ask your Super Admin to review your role assignment.
