/tasks helps teams track operational follow-ups that are not covered by leave, hiring, or broadcast workflows.
Opening the tasks workspace
Go to Tasks in the sidebar or navigate to/tasks. You see tasks you created, tasks assigned to you, or all tasks you are allowed to view depending on filter selection.
Filters and views
Use scope filters in list view:- All - tasks visible in your scope
- Assigned - tasks where you are an assignee
- Created - tasks you created
Creating and managing tasks
Select Create task to open the task panel, then set a title, notes, assignee, and due date. The assignee picker includes search and only shows teammates inside your allowed department or team scope unless your role has organisation-wide task assignment access. When you assign someone, Campsite can send an assignment email to the primary assignee. Each task row shows the assignee’s profile photo, the open or done status, the due date, and whether the task reached an external provider. Actions available on each task:- Mark complete or reopen
- Edit details, which reopens the same panel with the current values
- Delete (creator only)
Due dates cannot be in the past
Due dates are optional, but a date you set has to be today or later, in your organisation’s timezone. The date picker blocks earlier days and the task is rejected if an earlier date is submitted another way. A task that is already overdue keeps its original date, so you can still retitle or reassign it without touching the due date. Once you change that date, it has to move to today or later.Google Tasks and Microsoft To Do sync
If your organisation connects Google or Microsoft integrations, tasks mirror to Google Tasks or Microsoft To Do for the assignee, not for the person who created the task. Point at the icon on the right of a task row to see the current state:- Linked - the task reached the assignee’s Google Tasks or Microsoft To Do
- Not connected - the assignee has no Google or Outlook connection, so the task stays in Campsite until they connect one in Settings → Integrations
- Needs attention - the connection exists but has expired, so the assignee needs to reconnect
