Draft vs send
Assistant and similar roles can create broadcast drafts. A draft is visible to approvers but not delivered to the audience until a Manager, Senior Manager, or Super Admin approves it. When approval is required:- Author saves or submits the draft from the broadcast composer.
- An approver receives a notification or finds the item in their pending work.
- Approver reviews content, audience targeting, and schedule.
- On approval, Campsite queues delivery (push, email, or in-app as configured).
- On rejection, the author receives feedback and can revise the draft.
Scheduled broadcasts
Scheduled sends still respect approval rules. A broadcast scheduled for Monday will not deliver until approved, even if the scheduled time passes. After approval, the next delivery window applies according to your org settings.Mobile pending approvals
Managers can review certain pending broadcast approvals from the mobile app when mobile approval access is enabled for their role. Check with your Super Admin if you expect mobile approval but do not see pending items.Tips for authors
- Target the smallest audience that needs the message.
- Use a clear subject line so approvers can scan quickly.
- If urgent, notify your department manager that a draft is waiting.
