Where to find leave
Click Leave in the main sidebar, or navigate to/leave. Your leave dashboard shows all of your current and past leave requests, each with its current approval status.
Submitting a leave request
Go to Leave
Open the Leave section from the sidebar. You’ll see your leave history and any pending requests at a glance.
Click 'New leave request'
Select the New leave request button in the top-right corner of the page. The request form opens in a panel or modal.
Fill in the request details
Complete the form fields:
- Leave type — select from the types your Super Admin has configured (for example, Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Compassionate Leave, TOIL).
- Start date — the first day of your leave.
- End date — the last day of your leave. For a single day, set start and end to the same date.
- Reason — a brief note explaining the request. Some leave types may make this field optional or required depending on your organisation’s settings.
The leave types available to you are set by your Super Admin under Admin → Leave. If you can’t find the right leave type, ask your manager or HR team to check the configuration.
Tracking your leave approval
Each request in your leave list displays one of three statuses:| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Your manager has been notified and hasn’t yet reviewed the request |
| Approved | Your manager has approved the request — the time is confirmed |
| Rejected | Your manager has declined the request — check the notes for a reason |
