The hiring pipeline at a glance
Every role you recruit for moves through the same structured sequence of stages:Recruitment request
A manager or department lead raises a request for a new hire, capturing the role, team, expected start date, and any budget notes. HR reviews and approves the request before a listing is created.
Job listing created
HR (or the relevant manager) builds the job listing — role title, description, salary, department — and customises the application form. The listing can be published immediately or scheduled for a future date.
Applications
Once the listing is live on your public careers page, candidates apply directly through the candidate portal. All applications land in Campsite automatically.
Shortlisting
HR and managers review applications and mark candidates as shortlisted or not proceeding. Candidates can be sent templated emails at any stage.
Interviews
Shortlisted candidates are moved to the interview stage. Interview details and notes are recorded against the candidate’s profile in the pipeline.
Offer
A successful candidate is made an offer. Campsite generates an offer letter from your saved templates, which the candidate signs online.
Contract
After the offer is accepted, a contract is generated and sent for signature. Document generation pulls in the candidate’s details automatically.

Key features
Custom application forms — tailor the questions every candidate answers when they apply for a specific role. Add, remove, or reorder questions without touching a default template. EDI forms and reports — attach an equality, diversity, and inclusion monitoring form to any listing. Responses are stored separately from selection decisions, and you can run EDI reports across your hiring activity from the reports section. Email templates for candidates — save reusable email templates for common candidate communications (application received, shortlisted, interview invitation, rejection) so your team communicates consistently and quickly. Document generation — offer letters and contracts are generated directly in Campsite using templates you create and manage at/hr/offer-templates. Candidates sign online; signed documents are stored against their record.
