Overview

Offboarding helps people teams run a leaver checklist for each person. Open Offboarding (/hr/offboarding) to see active checklists with outstanding tasks, or open the person’s employee file and choose Offboarding from the Jump To row across the top.

Start a checklist

People with Manage employee records can start offboarding from the person’s Offboarding tab. Campsite uses the organisation default template (created on first use) with tasks such as equipment return, access revoke reminder, final pay check, exit notes, and HR record update. Leaver requests created from Lifecycle changes also start an offboarding checklist run so HR, IT, Finance, and the manager can track work from one request. Access revoke tasks are checklist reminders only. Campsite does not revoke Google, Microsoft, or other IdP access automatically.

Complete tasks

Mark each task done as you finish it. Outstanding counts show on the Offboarding queue. Optional exit interview notes sit on the same checklist (not legal advice). If the person still has assigned equipment, outstanding assets appear on the same Offboarding tab. Return them from Assets.

Finish and mark inactive

When every task is done, choose Finish checklist or Finish and mark inactive. Marking inactive uses the same archive path as other HR leaver tools and writes to the employee HR audit trail.
