Overview

Record reviews help people teams keep employee records current. HR can ask everyone to confirm their details every few months. People either confirm that nothing has changed, or update what has, including home address and work location. Open Record reviews from People overview (/hr/record-reviews). This is a reminder and record-maintenance workflow. It does not decide right-to-work, visa, tax, or payroll eligibility.

Settings

People with HR manage access can:
  • Turn reviews on or off
  • Choose how often people are asked (every 3, 6, or 12 months)
  • Choose how many days before the due date to send a reminder
  • Choose which sections appear in the review: home address, work location, emergency contact, and right to work / visa
When you turn reviews on, Campsite sets each active person’s first due date from today plus the chosen interval. Nobody is marked overdue on the day you enable it.

Employee review

When a review is due, the person sees a prompt on My Profile and a notification that opens /profile/record-review. They can:
  • Confirm that the shown details are still correct
  • Update home address or work location
  • Ask HR to follow up if right-to-work or visa details have changed (the official record is not changed automatically)
Confirming records the date and sets the next due date.

HR queue

The queue lists people as Up to date, Due, or Overdue. Use the status filter to show due and overdue people, or everyone. From a row you can:
  • Open the employee file
  • Ask that person to review now (bell). They get a reminder and their status becomes due
Send due reminders notifies people who are already due or overdue if they have not received that cycle’s reminder yet.

Sensitive changes

When someone updates home address or work location, or flags an immigration change, HR is notified to follow up. Previous values stay in the employee record audit. Address updates also notify Finance, the same as a profile address change.
